The Grand Opening Ceremony of Class of IGCSE 9 and IGCSE 10

Guiyang New World International School A-level Curriculum Centre witnessesthe grand Opening Ceremony of Class of IGCSE 9 and IGCSE 10 in September 1st2017. The ceremony is attended by principal Chen Zhangyi, vice-principal ZhouLu, foreign provost Stephen Mohan, Kira Petrie, teachers, parents, and studentsof A-level. Principal Chen Zhangyi makes aspeech, in which he describesA-level Curriculum Centre as a deep-rooted tree with thick leaves and has ahigh expectations for the future of A-level Curriculum Centre. Vice-principal Zhou Lu introduces the A-level courses to new students and asks students ofIGCSE 9 and IGCSE 10 to learn from what students of AS has done last year. Theceremony has many good talks given by foreign provost Stephen Mohan, KiraPetrie, head teacher Zhang Tingting, parentrepresentative Zhen Guangyi, studentrepresentative Zhang Zheming,Qiu Chudi. Honor students Zhen Yunduo, Liu Pinting, Yang Xing, Liu Xiang, andRuan Jialei are awarded scholarship at the ceremony. All students rise fromtheir chairs and bow to all the teachers, which is called apprentice ritual.Original flags of IGCSE 9 and IGCSE 10 are given applause from audience. Theceremony come to an end successfully after Chen Junxian and Wang Yiying leadall students to take the oath.
